I graduated from The University of Delaware in 2005 with a degree in Management. During my time at the University of Delaware, I was a member of the baseball team. After my junior season, I was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2001 Major League baseball draft. After spending 5 years in the Philadelphia Phillies organization, I decided it was time to hang it up and pursue a different path. Post pro ball, I started working in the healthcare field with Eagle Health Care, a midsize DME company specializing in distributing pneumatic compression pumps to patients with lymphedema and venous disease. Passionate about the medical field and helping patients, I started Avalon Medical, LLC, a specialty Durable Medical Equipment company based in Mount Laurel, NJ. I spent almost 9 years serving as the President of Avalon Medical, thriving in the fast paced, competitive world of medical device sales. Having the unique knowledge and experience of running my own business, I am so excited about the opportunity to help Insight by sharing my ideas, past experiences, successes, failures etc. I currently live in Marlton, NJ with my wife Jessie and our three children, John (7), Hudson (3), and Vivienne (2). I love playing golf and spending as much time with my family as I can!
Favorite thing about working with Insight
I am very fortunate for the opportunity to work with some of our industry’s best and brightest minds working together to help solve real issues that occur everyday within school districts. I also love that our leadership team has put a premium on creating a strong culture. In my time at Insight, I’ve witnessed a group that offers support, promotes trust within the organization, rewards employees’ efforts, and ensures that they know their work is meaningful.
When playing for the Phillies in the minor leagues, I was teammates with some pretty good ball players! Ryan Howard, Cole Hamels and Gavin Floyd were just a few of my teammates during my time playing pro ball.
